About Me

From a young age, my fascination with nature grew alongside my passion for photography. Gifted a disposable camera by my grandmother at the age of six, I found solace in capturing the beauty of the trees in our backyard. Every camping trip and outdoor adventure became an opportunity to document the wonders of the natural world. My collection of photographs, stored under my bed, served as a sanctuary on difficult days, allowing me to immerse myself in the joy and emotions of each captured moment.

As I grew older, my love for exploration extended beyond the familiar trails of my backyard. Backpacking became a gateway to new landscapes, from mist-shrouded forests of the Pacific Northwest to the rugged mountain ranges and tranquil coastal paths of AK. Traveling turned into a canvas for storytelling, where each journey added a new chapter to my visual narrative. With a camera in hand and a backpack on my shoulders, I ventured into the unknown, seeking not just beautiful views but profound experiences and stories waiting to be captured.

The Pacific Northwest, with its serene landscapes even under gray skies, remains my ideal canvas. But my lens has wandered far beyond, capturing the wild beauty of remote trails, the quiet moments beside mountain lakes, and the ever-changing dance of light on the ocean’s surface. Through my photography, I aim to tell a story preserving not just images but the emotions, memories, and connections tied to them.

Sharing these stories with you is a privilege I hold close to my heart.
